Wow sorry for that crappy pun. What a way to start it off! OK so I´ve got ten minutes until my internet exceeds an hour - expensive when you´re paying!! So many great things in the last for days. Here´s phase one of holy week adventures. Thursday took an overnight bus ride to Barcelona from Cáceres. Oh baby, those are always fun! Spain has this annoying law that buses have to stop every 4 hours, so as a consequence I found myself very confused at a Spanish truck stop at 1 AM. Very interesting experience. Got to Barce great, and even got 6 hours of sleep! Friday was a day trip to Figueres, where I saw the Salvador Dalí museum. WEIRD WEIRD WEIRD guy and art, but a lot of fun. One room was designed so the furniture looked like Mae West´s face. Now that´s strange, but totally cool! Also passed through Girona, another little historic town where I scaled the city walls. Stayed in Barce at my JANKY hostel (nice to be out of there after 3 nights), then got ready to see Barce on Saturday. Got up early to get to the Sagrada Familia ASAP.

WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can not say enough amazing thing about this temple still in construction planned by Antonio Gaudí, Barcelona´s favorite son and Modernisme architect. SO crazy, SO intellegent and geometrical, SO natural, SO huge, SO windy up in the towers, and just an incredible experience.
Sorry no pictures for now, but look it up on the internet. Truly a fantastic place, and as a result I spent 4 hours there. WORTH IT!!!! Spent the afternoon at Güell Park, another Gaudí creation (the one with the mosaic dragon),
Casa Milá, another Gaudí creation designed like a beach shore, and I passed by three more Gaudí creations. He´s had a great impact on the city, and I LOVE his stuff!!!!! A great Gau-día (ok I´ll stop now). Sunday was another great day. I saw the Olympic stadium up on Montjuic,
went to the great museum of sport and olympics, then saw a couple more Gaudí creations before rounding it out with the cathedral and city history museum. Wow!!! I´ve been hitting each city so hard that as a consequence they´re hitting me back. I´m legitimately really sore from so much walking. Seen Zaragoza and Pamplona since then, but will tell those tales another time! Really enjoying more traveling, but it will be nice to get back to some creature comforts and constancy. 5 more days of seeing the north of Spain to go!!!
It makes me tired just reading it!GM, Rebecca and I saw some of that Gaudi stuff. Wierd and amazing all at once!
